The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce Launches Search for New Chief Executive Officer
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that it is actively recruiting for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This pivotal role will provide strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the Chamber continues its mission of representing the interests of the local business community and fostering a thriving environment for commerce.
The Chamber, Bermuda’s oldest and largest business organization, plays a vital role in supporting the island’s private sector through networking opportunities, advocacy, and initiatives aimed at driving sustainable economic growth.
“The Chamber is seeking a visionary leader who can guide the organization’s strategic direction, advocate on behalf of its diverse membership, and develop innovative programs to support Bermuda’s business community,” said Board President Marico Thomas. “We’re looking for someone who can build on our strong foundation while charting a forward-thinking course to meet the evolving needs of our members.”
The CEO will report to the Board of Directors and oversee the Chamber’s governance, operations, membership development, government relations, and marketing efforts. This individual will also spearhead key initiatives, special projects, and events to enhance member engagement and expand the Chamber’s impact.
Key Competencies and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven strategic leadership abilities.
- Exceptional relationship-building, advocacy, and communication skills.
- Strong financial and operational management experience.
- A graduate degree (preferred) and at least 10 years of experience in business, non-profit leadership, or related fields.
